Thus far...

So, after months of planning, multiple spreadsheets and conversations. After printing several packing lists off to ensure we don't forget anything, there we were, at the airport in Omaha, riding the escalator up to the security check point. We had just kissed in anticipation of this "trip of a lifetime" when I get a... "awrrr! My jacket". Yep, we were at the airport, had 1 1/2 hours before our flight, and we... SHE... forgot her "jacket". So, a 1/2 hour taxi ride back to the house, unexpected costs, and a rushed security experience for me, and we now have the beautiful blue jacket that you see her wearing in the pic. I guess its worth it due to all of the work and planning she's put into this trip thus far. Let's just hope the rest of the vacation is less "unplanned" than today has been. We board for Paris in less than 2 hours... cannot wait. More to come tomorrow.
